Productivity hacks for being successful at work

Almost everyone wants to be productive and efficient in the things they do. Not many are successful at it.

5 productivity hacks that will make you successful

We always think that the main reason for most of our failures is the lack of efficiency or productiveness. Humans seem to be lazy by nature.

Often the reason behind the success of many influential people is their productivity and focus in their work.

So here are 5 main productivity hacks that help you become great at your work and life in general.

  1. The rule of 3: We usually have a habit of making a list of things we have to accomplish in the day. If you are not doing it, I would highly recommend you start this habit of listing down your tasks for the day. From the list, highlight the three main things you are complete for sure by the end of the day. I know each day is different at work. We all have good days and bad days. Competent workers complete important work within the specified time, no matter how the day has been for them. The reason they can deliver on time is that they do one task at a time and execute only the important ones at first. Hence, the recommendation is to pick just three main things every day and complete them one after the other in the most sincere and talented manner as possible.
  2. Great Start & Planning: A weekly planning of what tasks need to be done in the week ahead can help save you a lot of time and energy. You can schedule more time, for complex tasks and set reminders for deadlines. Having done this, you are more likely to be on top of things and ready to face new challenges.
  3. Daily review: Plan your tasks at the start of the day and inspect before you leave. Ideally, do it an hour before you leave the office. Check based on task priority. See which important one is pending and how you can complete it fast. If it is not going to be done today, plan for it for tomorrow with a focus on how you can manage time for the other tasks.
  4. Accountability partner: Take help from a senior or colleague. Share with them your plan for the week. And report back on how the week progressed. Make yourself accountable for your work. This activity will help improving task ownership and completion rates significantly.
  5. Accomplishments: Celebrate the great things you have accomplished in the week. Keep a working record of what you have delivered every week. Look back on to them at the start of every month and share with other team members.

These are my personal hacks on improving productivity. Higher productivity will lead to increased efficiency.

Better efficiency will result in increased performance.

Improved performance will finally lead to fame and success at work.

I hope these productivity hacks will help in succeeding at work. Good luck!
