10 absolutely simple steps for error proofing your blog

Typos are the worst of the lot👀.

Now that we have established the kind of errors and how difficult & necessary it is to write impactful content without any mistakes, here is a 10 step checklist


  1. Double-check your content with Grammarly.
  2. Read your content aloud. If possible, have someone else listen to it.
  3. Remove fancy words or jargons. 
  4. Eliminate passive voice.
  5. Use very few adverbs.
  6. Shorten sentences over 20 words. 
  7. Keep paragraphs to a maximum of 5 sentences.
  8. Double-check links in the blog post
  9. Look for spelling & word errors - there could be mistyped words such as form instead of from.
  10. Ensure the tone of voice for your brand is maintained all through the post.
